Rene Marie Russo is an American actress filmmaker and a former supermodel. Alongside her stunning elegance, her continued successes in the competitive film industry proves her skills as an actor. She began modeling in the 70s. She soon became one of the most sought-after models. She studied theatre and acting towards the beginning of the decade, before starring on stages in Los Angeles, and other parts of California. Russo first made her television debut in ABCs Sable as Eden Kendell, in 1987. Her debut film, Major League was released in the year following. Russo was Tom Berengers 'love interest. Dana White, who was following her closely at the time, signed her into the UFC strawweight division for December 2014. She had recently turned 22. Rose has experienced highs and lows throughout her professional career, but she always comes out triumphant. Rose was a fighter against Carla Esparza in April 2015 to win the Women's Strawweight Champion. She won the fight via technical knockout in just 3 minutes after the start of the round. It was the first ever time a woman competed to win a title in any major organization worldwide. After this win, Namajunas went onto have several victories, including defeating Joanna Jedrzejczyk twice which earned her Performance Of The Night honors from UFC following these victories .
